Ronimix has a fleet of volumetric on-site concrete mixers ready to deliver our high-quality ready-mixed concrete where you need it.

Each one our volumetric concrete mixers carries concrete materials (20mm ballast, CEM1 (100%) cement and water) in separate compartments. This allows the concrete to be batched and mixed on site when we arrive. With a fully loaded lorry we can make up to 10m3 of fresh concrete.

Mixing on site means:

  • The concrete is fresh and highly workable, allowing it to be deposited easily where you need it, either direct from the truck or using one of our concrete pumps (hired separately).
  • There's no risk of over- or under-ordering. Your order volume is your estimated required amount, but you can use more/less. We only charge for the amount that leaves the mixer.
  • You can tailor your mix to the site requirements at the exact time of concrete deposit.
  • High quality concrete
  • No extra or hidden charges
  • Reliable expert team
  • 2-hour arrival timeslot

Choose your concrete mix

Each of our concrete mixes is ideally suited for a different application.

C20 / GEN3

Commonly used for lightweight domestic applications such as foundations for small walls, steps driveways and shed, conservatory and greenhouse bases. It can also be used to construct internal floor slabs as long as they contain NO embedded mesh.

C25 / ST2

Versatile and perfect for filling footings and foundations, including mass concrete, trench and reinforced fill. Along with general ground works and over site, it can also be used for kerbing and infilling around manholes.

C30 / ST3

Creates strong solid ground, making it ideal for pavement construction, slabbing, patios, garages, driveways, paths, workshop floors and reinforced hard standings.

C35

For heavy-duty applications such as raft foundations, piling, reinforced bases for commercial buildings, kennels, agricultural light storage areas, grain/feed storage and farm equipment parking.

C40

The strongest we offer, largely used for industrial projects such as roads and roadworks, support beams, swimming pools, septic tanks, HGV Park hard standings and agricultural use.

For more mix information refer to BS8500 and BS EN206 and or Chapter 3.1 NHBC Standards 2024. Always check with your engineer to ensure you are selecting the correct mix strength for your project.

Vehicle Dimensions and Site Requirements

Height 3.8 metres
Width 3.15 metres
Length 10.85 metres
Weight 42 metric tonnes when fully loaded

Please ensure there is enough space at your site to allow our trucks to access the area and park.

Any hard standings we travel across and park upon will need to be strong enough to support their weight without causing damage.

We deposit directly into prepared trenches or bases; to a prepared holding area; into wheel burrows or dumper trucks; or into our concrete pumps (hired separately).

We arrive within the 2-hour timeslot and allow 45 minutes for dropping off the load.
