Ronimix has a modern fleet of volumetric on-site mixers ready to deliver our high-quality ready-mixed floor screed where you need it.

Each one our volumetric mixers carries floor screed materials (best quality sharp sand, CEM1 (100%) cement and water) in separate compartments. This allows the floor screed to be batched and mixed on site when we arrive.

Mixing on site means there's no risk of over- or under-ordering. Your order volume is your estimated required amount, but you can use more/less. We only charge for the amount that leaves the mixer.

Our screed cannot be pumped, so we deposit to your chosen area (on a plastic sheet provided by you), where you are able to wheelbarrow the load to its final destination. We deliver floor screed first call in the morning at 8am.

Each mixer can carry enough materials to make up to around 10m³ of floor screed. Please see our vehicle dimensions below.

Our mix, applications and additives

Traditional 4:1 sharp sand and cement mix

  • 4 parts best-quality sharp sand to 1 part CEM1 cement, plus water.
  • Highly workable.
  • Settles to achieve a smooth and even final surface texture.

Please ensure there is enough space at your site to allow our trucks to access the area and park.

Any hard standings we travel across and park upon will need to be strong enough to support their weight without causing damage.

Unless otherwise required, we deposit the floor screed at an appropriate external location at the site on plastic sheeting.

We arrive at 8am and allow 45 minutes for dropping off the load.

Fresh cementitious material can cause serious burns to skin and eyes as well as skin disease and dermatitis. DO NOT swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Immediately wash off any fresh cementitious material from skin and thoroughly wash out any affected eyes. If swallowed do not induce vomiting but seek immediate medical advice. Wear protective clothing (goggles, gloves, impervious boots, trousers and long sleeved clothing).
