Ronimix has a modern fleet of volumetric on-site concrete mixers, which supply great-quality concrete to private individuals, builders, developers, large contractors and anyone who is looking to buy best value-for-money concrete.
Each one our volumetric concrete mixers carry concrete materials (20mm ballast, CEM1 (100%) cement and water) in separate compartments, which can be batched and mixed on site to make up to circa 10m³ of concrete.
As our vehicles batch and mix on-site, there is no risk of under or over-ordering; you can also tailor your mix to the site requirements at the exact time of concrete deposit; and as the concrete is freshly made, it is highly workable allowing easy placement.
Concrete Mixes
Selecting the correct strength of concrete for its end of use application is crucial for getting good results. Ronimix offers a range of concrete strength mixes. Here are our most common mixes supplied with use descriptions.
NOTE: Please always check with your engineer for your mix strength / use Application.
Mix Strength Name | Use Descriptions |
---|---|
C20 / GEN 3 | Our C20 / GEN 3 concrete is commonly used for lightweight domestic applications such as foundations for small walls, steps driveways and shed, conservatory and greenhouse bases. It can also be used to construct internal floor slabs as long as they contain NO embedded mesh. |

C30 / ST 3 | Our C30 mix is used for pavement construction and is deal for slabbing, patios, garages, driveways, paths, workshop floors and reinforced hard standings. |
C35 | Our C35 mix is a heavy-duty use concrete. Common applications include raft foundations, piling, reinforced bases for commercial buildings, kennels, agricultural light storage areas, grain/feed storage and farm equipment parking. |
C40 | Our C40 mix is the strongest we offer and is largely used for industrial projects such as roads and roadworks, support beams, swimming pools, septic tanks, HGV Park hard standings and agricultural use. |
Our Vehicles and Your Site
Our vehicles are 3.8m tall, nearly 11m long and nearly 3.2m wide and when fully loaded weigh around 42t. When we arrive at your site we shall need enough space to access and park and any hard standings we travel across and park upon will need to be strong enough to support their weight without causing damage.
Arriving and Depositing Concrete at Your Site
We book deliveries in two-hour slots starting at 8am and from arrival at your site we allow 45 minutes for dropping off the load. We deposit with our 4.4m chute: directly into prepared trenches or bases; to a prepared holding area; into wheel burrows or dumper trucks; or into our concrete pumps.
