2017 is the 10th year of the competition with a whopping 2,963 enteries. There are 8 categories with 4 finalist in each. The categories are:

My favourites so far are: Pricklebums, Tardis Shed (I so like the Cyberman), Walberswick Ferry Hut and Garage Simulator.
For the 4th year running the shortlisted sheds will feature on the hit TV series ‘Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year’, produced by Plum Pictures, showing on Channel 4 and starting tonight on Channel 4 at 7pm and hosted by the TV’s Restoration Man, George Clarke.
Andrew together with George and a panel of experts will work together to select finalists from each category in each of the following shows:
Episode 1 – Cabins and Summer Houses/ Not a Shed
Episode 2 – Pubs and Entertainment/ Unexpected
Episode 3 – Historic/ Workshops and Studios
Episode 4 – Budget/ Eco and Winner.
And as you can see in final episode the winner will be revealed … a commemorative plaque will be awarded, along with a cash prize of £1000 from Cuprinol and Cuprinol products worth £100. The winning shed will receive a giant crown … mmmmhhh, I wonder what that will be made of and will the concrete foundations support it!
